Overview
Tube Router is a London Underground journey planner built for simplicity and privacy. We do not collect, store, or share any personal information about you. No account is required to use the app.
Data We Do Not Collect
- No name, email address, or contact details
- No location data
- No device identifiers or advertising IDs
- No usage analytics or tracking
- No cookies or cross-app tracking
TfL API
Journey search queries are sent directly to the Transport for London Open Data API to retrieve route and line status information. These requests are made directly from your device to TfL's servers. Tube Router does not log, intercept, or store these queries. Please refer to TfL's Privacy Policy for information on how TfL handles API requests.
In-App Purchases
Tube Router offers an optional one-time purchase to unlock Pro features. All payment processing is handled entirely by Apple via the App Store. We never see or store your payment details. Purchase records are managed by your Apple ID.
Local Storage
The app stores the following data locally on your device only:
- Your favourite routes (if Pro is unlocked)
- Recent journey searches
- Your Pro purchase status
This data never leaves your device and is deleted if you uninstall the app.
Children's Privacy
Tube Router does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children under the age of 13.
Changes to This Policy
If we update this privacy policy, the new version will be posted at this URL. The effective date below will be updated accordingly.
